The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company is recruiting for a Technology Risk Assistant Manager to join the London Financial Services team in a Top 10 accountancy firm. Our client has experienced some exciting changes recently and are looking to expand their team with proactive and inquisitive IT audit professionals. This business offers a hands-on advisory opening with an array of financial services sectors for you to explore.
As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for developing IT General Controls and conducting application control reviews in support of external and internal audit engagements. Businesses are becoming more and more dependent on the use of data and our client offers projects where you will review data analytics and perform controls testing to enhance your clients’ business performance. You will also be expected to lead small teams of IT audit specialists and update the senior management on engagements’ progress, particularly liaising closely with IT Audit Managers.
As a successful candidate you will be a CISA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or similar) qualified and have experience in IT general controls and application control reviews. You will have great IT capabilities and understanding of control deficiencies and how to leverage data analytics in audit environments. You will also have audited SAP, Oracle, Fidessa and Figaro. It is essential that you have managed parts of engagements and mentored junior staff.
