The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor position for a quasi-technology and public services company based in Hampshire.
This role will support the Head of Risk and Assurance to deliver the risk-based audit plan and test the effectiveness of existing controls. Within this supportive team, there will be a high-level of independence with this role, and you will be trusted to execute predominantly operational and risk based audits.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified or part qualified internal auditor (ACA, ACCA, IIA, CIA or equivalent) to join a well-known British organisation and contribute to their growing audit function.
Experience requirement
· Professional accountancy or internal audit qualification (e.g. CMIIA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
· 2+ years internal audit experience.
· Experience evaluating and implementing internal controls, specifically operational and risk based.
· Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to form lasting relationships across a business.
· Pragmatic thinker with strong business acumen.
Desired experience
· Experience within the technology or IT industry.
Salary and Benefits
· Up to £40,000 DOE
· Performance related bonus, hybrid working, generous annual leave and pension.
