The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company are recruiting for an Internal Audit Manager position for a FTSE250 software and engineering business in the defence sector.
This is a core role within the team, supporting the Senior Manager and Head of Audit in the delivery of their ambitious audit plan. This role will have a high level of autonomy and be responsible for delivering risk-based, operational and financial audits while assisting with assurance activities.
This role has great visibility to senior stakeholders and is a great opportunity for a qualified internal auditor to join a high calibre team.
Experience Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIA Qualified or equivalent.
- Strong internal audit and accountancy background; ideally Big 4 or Top 10.
- Understanding of SOx and BEIS reforms as well as internal audit methodology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail with strong analytic and organisational skills with the ability to see the ‘big picture’.
- Understanding of risk and controls and be able to articulate this with non-internal audit professionals.
Essential Criteria:
- UK Passport holder.
- Driver’s licence.
Salary / Benefits
- £55,000 - £65,000 DOE.
- Bonus + generous pension + additional benefits.
