Audit Manager

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are working with a well known, household name to help them source an Audit Manager.

The Audit Manager position is a leadership role within Internal Audit, supporting the Heads of Audit in delivering the Internal Audit plan and working with senior management in the provision of independent, objective advice and assurance on business risks and controls.

Within this role you will be acting as a trusted and respected business partner in providing ad hoc and consultative controls advice to the business, whilst assisting with departmental deliverables, including audit committee reporting, follow-up of audit actions and resource planning.

Your focus will be on designing and implementing departmental guidelines, processes, systems and working practices in conjunction with the Heads of Audit and other Managers and ensuring that sound audit methodology and high quality reporting are firmly embedded throughout the department

The ideal applicant will have substantial auditing or similar relevant experience, including the management of other professionals in the execution of a risk based assurance and/or advisory function. This experience will have included working in or with organisations of a large size and complexity. Direct experience of internal audit is preferred.

You will be:

• Qualified Accountant through a recognised professional body (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
