Assistant Audit Manager - Big 4

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is helping a Big 4 professional services firm in London recruit an Assistant Audit Manager. An opportunity available due to exponential growth and expansion in international accounts across various corporate industries, with the flexibility to move from sector to sector.

Your role will include providing audit of financial statements and applying internal controls principles to your work. As an Assistant Manager you will be the main point of contact for both, junior members of staff who you will manage, and senior management who will support you with audits. This is very much a client-facing role where you will be a trusted advisor to your complex and large clients, while also benefitting from the firms’ wider projects such as exploiting emerging technologies placing you at the forefront of audit.

A successful candidate will be working in external audit in a Top 30 professional services firm and have an ACA/ACCA (equivalents too) qualification. Alongside your audit experience you will have demonstrable managerial experience and be comfortable using and applying SOX 404 and UK/US GAAP as well as IFRS. While not crucial, a background in IT and experience in manufacturing, energy, real estate, media or construction would be beneficial.
