The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company are recruiting for an Internal Auditor for a FTSE250 public services organisation who have clients across several sectors. The role has become available due to growth within the function.
You will be joining a well-established audit team, and assist with delivery of their risk-based operational audits. There is a strong focus on operational and thematic audits across the global business, there will be up to 40% global travel with this role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part qualified or qualified auditor (ACA, CIA, IIA) to enter into a supportive team who will offer a high level of exposure to a range of audits. Experience requirement:
- ACA, CIA, IIA (or equivalent) qualified or part qualified, or at least 2 years experience in internal audit.
- Strong internal audit experience, particularly operational / thematic audit experience.
- Excellent writing & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A curious mindset, willingness for global travel, and a proven team player.
Desirable experience:
- Experience using data analytics and audit software would be advantageous.
- Working within a global function and an appreciation for the obstacles this could create.
Salary and benefits:
- Up to £50,000 DOE
