The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is recruiting a Risk Manager on behalf of an organisation operating a high profile and major UK infrastructure programme.
The role offers fantastic exposure and variety across the programme and will suit a proactive risk management specialist able to prompt, guide, business partner, and challenge. How you engage and interact with your stakeholders will be vital.
Reporting the Head of Risk Management, your specific responsibilities will include supporting management of strategic enterprise risk, developing risk management policies, processes, and standards, and ensuring these are effectively executed across the programme. You will also support various development or delivery areas by developing an integrated view of risk across the programme, identifying trends, and developing risk management and mitigation strategies.
A recognised risk management qualification such as the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) or the Association of Project Management (APM) is sought, and experience of project/programme risk management role within a large scale and complex project would be ideal. However, risk management specialists from other commercial environments are also being considered by the senior management team if bringing the proactive approach and strong stakeholder management capabilities mentioned earlier.
