The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company is assisting a global, FTSE 100 listed consumer goods business to recruit an IT Audit Manager - travel is 30% internationally and this aside, you will be working mainly from home, hence their is flexibility on base location (although being based in the North or Midlands is ideal).
Reporting into the Group Head of IT Audit, your role will shape, define, and deliver the IT audit and risk plan for various brands (totalling £bn’s) sitting with the wider Group structure.
Additionally, you will partner IT directors and strategic leaders in providing project-based assurance, for instance, supporting implementations at both pre- and post-implementation stage – the project assurance piece will form a signficant portion of your role.
If you are naturally proactive, consultative, driven, and like to use your own initiative, this position will suit down to a T! On the flip side, if not, it’s simply not for you.
In terms of progression, there is numerous routes into the business including cyber, IT operations etc. and you can move between brands within the Group’s global network.
Your continuous training and development will also be a cornerstone, so say for example you wish to wish to transition to InfoSec, you would be aided in making that transition and gaining a CISM.
Background
- Experience in IT external and/or internal audit is essential and ideally working in the Big 4 or seeking a second industry move
- Experience in a role covering technology risk and IT audit, with specialist knowledge of IT risk management, IT controls and ideally, information security.
- Experience of performing business process walkthroughs and scoping relevant IT controls
- CISA qualification is preferred
