The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company is assisting a large UK manufacturer recruit an Internal Auditor on a fixed term contract basis. The organisation is values led and boasts a fantastic culture in which you will find a collaborative, supportive, and enjoyable work environment.
Reporting to the Head of Audit, you will play a significant role in supporting a SOX implementation programme specifically looking at financial controls and processes. You will regularly engage stakeholders and will be a key facilitator in ensuring timescales are met.
Prior experience in SOX testing and financial auditing is required, and a full professional qualification (ACA / ACCA) would be ideal although is not a most if you possess the relevant experience.
There will be no travel involved in the role and currently staff are working remotely.
