The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) has been mandated to assist with sourcing an Internal Audit Manager for a FTSE 250 leisure company.

As an Audit Manager, you will be part of a diverse audit team looking at the business and its processes through engagement with all levels of management across a multitude of countries and cultures, supporting the group in reaching its overall targets in a sustainable manner. You will need to plan, execute, and report on audit assignments. Taking a risk-based and agile approach, tailoring your approach to the needs of the underlying assignment, you will evaluate the control environment and its effectiveness and make suggestions for improvements. You will provide valuable insights to management using analytics. Working with the business to ensure implementation of measures to reduce the likelihood of any identified risk materialising. You will also work on the continuous improvement of our own processes by learning about embedding agile, analytics and robotics.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Proven experience in risk-based audit and financial controls
  • Ability to learn quickly while working in a dynamic and potentially unknown environment.
  • Someone who is commercially focussed with an affinity for IT and an interest in digital developments.
  • Solution focussed, analytical thinker who adopts a flexible approach in an agile work environment.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build valuable working relationships across the Group.
  • Openness to working in an international context and a great team player who is also capable and comfortable working alone on assignments.
  • Ambitious out-of-the-box thinker who likes to share new perspectives to develop and improve Group Audit on a continuous basis.
  • Fluent in English; any other European language, preferably German is a plus.

What’s in it for you?

A very flexible working environment with a few days in office per month. A supportive environment encouraging the development of ideas across the whole team. Offering a competitive salary, 10% international travel and exclusive discounts on holidays from the business.
