Internal Audit Assistant Manager - Logistics

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is working with a global listed logistics business which operates across various geographical regions (APAC, Europe, US, UK and South America) and based in Central London ( 2 x in the office hybrid working).

An extremely high-performing and diverse team which holds team culture at the heart of what they do. They champion inclusivity, creativity, contribution to ideas and growth across the business. They are a key player in supply chains of all businesses (such as Unilever) in ensuring consumer goods move efficiently, safely and sustainably from supplier to consumer.  

They are hiring an Internal Audit Assistant Manager to join the team to deliver complex audits across the business. This would involve a variety of projects, such as operational, IT, financial and programme assurance audits. The variety of work also encourages a breadth and depth of exposure to senior stakeholders and the Board.  

To be considered, the below are preferred:

  • A relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/IIA/CIA/CIMA etc.) is preferred but not essential.
  • At least 3-4yrs of external and/or internal audit experience in corporate environments (no financial services). Candidates ideally will have qualified with the Big4/Top 10 Accounting Firms.
  • Natural curiosity and a self-starter mindset.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship can be offered at this stage).
  • Experience in leading audits and working independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Additional languages are beneficial but not essential.
