Controls Assurance Manager - Top 10 Practice firm

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is recruiting a Controls Assurance Manager for a Top 10 Practice firm in London. As a Manager, you will be pivotal to the team as this role will see you lead engagements and manage junior members of the team. This position has been newly created to expand the risk advisory projects. You will be reporting to the respective Senior Manager/Director.

Your role will include working on SOC and SOX engagements, carrying out controls testing for your multiple clients and ensuring operations effectiveness. You will be expected to line manage junior members and lead engagements end-to-end, as well as assisting on pitches and proposals. Other projects you can expect to work on involve Third Party Risk Assurance and controls testing according to various reporting standards such as ISAE3402.

To be considered you will:

  • Be ACA/CIA or equivalent qualified
  • Have worked in a managerial position in Practice (at least 3-4 years)
  • Have been responsible for junior members’ appraisals and performance reviews
  • Have excellent understanding of internal and/or external audit
