The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are looking for an ACA/ACCA qualified Internal Auditor to join a leading automotive business based in Milton Keynes.

This is a standalone and hands-on role, reporting to the Board and administratively to the FD.

As Company Auditor your duties will include:

  • Develop and deliver a risk-based annual audit plan and supporting audit processes
  • Present audit reports and periodic audit update to the Board
  • Track and report completion of audit actions
  • Perform on-site dealer audit reviews in UK & Ireland for as determined by business risk
  • Monitor developments and complete assurance work to ensure compliance with HMRC Senior Accounting officer (SAO) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Regulation
  • Regularly engage with key stakeholders, including Financial Services division, attend key meetings and review and industry data to assess business performance and emerging risks
  • Ad hoc reviews and investigations as requested by the Board

Skills and Experience:


  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Big 4/Top 10 audit experience
  • Internal audit experience in large blue chip/corporate business


  • Experience with using SAP and other finance systems
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Experience presenting to senior management professionals
  • Experience of FCA Regulated Businesses/ Compliance
