The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are working with one of the world’s largest media and advertising businesses to find 2 Assurance Senior Analysts. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant with some Internal Audit experience to forge a career in the media sector.
This role reports to the Commercial Compliance Senior Manager. It sits as part of the 2nd line of defence function supporting our client’s international markets. Our client has recently adopted a new Risk and Controls framework and needs support in 2 key areas of compliance – revenue recognition and IFR15 and the due diligence related to the onboarding of new suppliers. Our client operates also operates in a SOX framework. Your responsibilities will be to partner with the business to ensure compliance with these key areas, remediate any issues and help to create a best-in-class framework for Risk and Controls. Some travel will be required, mainly to European locations such as Spain and Italy. It’s estimated that you will be travelling 20-30% of the time.
The ideal candidate is likely to have trained as Internal Auditor with a large consultancy (Big 4 or top 10 accounting practice, for example). Our client is hoping to find someone who is a qualified accountant but might consider somebody qualified by experience. A foreign language, particularly Spanish or Italian would be useful for this role but is not essential.
