The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been engaged by one of the fastest growing corporate governance departments of a top 10 practice firms to help recruit an Associate Director who will play a pivotal leadership role within their financial services team. This role will be banking focused, but you will be involved in the wider FS offering.
Reporting to a supportive Partner you will be leading a team of sector specialists, and be at the forefront of growing the internal audit and governance offering across the financial services sector. You will be responsible for managing and leading an existing high-profile portfolio of IA outsourced and co-sourced clients, managing the development and delivery of risk based annual audit plans and building and maintaining client relationships. Playing a leading role in the the business development of the department, you will play an integral part in the department’s marketing strategy, and have the ability to drive new business opportunities.
To be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate your technical expertise in this area and be a subject matter expert in this field as you will be the last point of issue resolution before the Partner. You should have a solid understanding of trade finance, and have demonstrable experience of working with wholesale, challenger and national banks. You must feel comfortable speaking with and influencing c-suite individuals and have an appetite to help grow the offering through networking and business development. You are likely to be hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA), and have experience managing and developing individuals.
